Applying to Inspire is easy!

Apply now for Fall 2018
We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2018. Open enrollment runs from Dec 1 - Jan 31st. An enrollment lottery will be held on February 1st based on the criteria listed on the admissions page. Communication via email (please use a good e-mail address on the application) will go out to families indicating whether your student was awarded a spot or was waitlisted by Monday, February 5th, close of business.
Further communication including a link to online enrollment and important deadlines will be sent to those students that receive a spot in the lottery.  Waitlisted students will be offered spots as they become available.
Students applying after January 31st will be placed on a waiting list by date of application. Applicants will be contacted as space becomes available. Please include a preferred email contact and telephone number.

Application Policies and Checklist

These forms must be completed for application to be valid:

Once student is accepted to Inspire, the following items will need to be submitted within one week for enrollment to be considered valid:
  • Completed online enrollment paperwork (link will be sent via e-mail)
  • Birth certificate (if student is coming from a school outside Chico Unified School District)
  • Immunization records
  • Health History form
Inspire School of Arts and Sciences is nonsectarian in its programs, admission policies, employment practices, and all other operations, and will not charge tuition nor discriminate against any student based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, perceived sexual orientation, home language, or disability.
Space permitting, Inspire School of Arts and Sciences shall admit all pupils who wish to attend the school within the Chico Unified School District. As space allows, students may also be admitted from surrounding districts in Butte County.
Special consideration shall be given to students protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Equal Protection Clause of the United States Constitution, to comply with both state and federal charter law.
